Professional Home Studio
When you hire me to record your voiceover, your audio will be recorded in a custom built professional sound booth. It's constructed using high density acoustic foam inside the walls and ceiling as well acoustic panels throughout the booth.

It's acoustically treated to produce a noise floor of -60db. I record, edit and produce broadcast quality audio for clients globally using professional industry recognised equipment. ​
The majority of my work is self directed, but if you wish to dial in and listen and/or give directions on a 'remote recording' session, just send me a link eg: Zoom, or we can do it via 'cleanfeed' and we're good to go! You or your client, can give me direction on how you want the voice to sound. I record the whole session and send you the file/s edited and optimised, or just the RAW audio.
What Is The Audio Sound Quality Like From My Studio?

Professional Equipment I Currently Use
I'm not really a big fan of lots of gizmo's and gadgets in the studio. For me, less is more. So I try and keep it simple and easy! Sure, I could have a whole load of audio editing software and effects in my studio. But, to be honest, I've had some great comments about the quality of my audio from clients. Including a very fussy pro sound engineer who has worked with a lot of well known artists and voiceovers! So, I think. If you have good sound absorption and acoustics along with good microphone technique, the audio should be good too...right?!
Microphone: Rode NT1a Condensor
A very popular home studio condenser microphone. It has been a staple for professional home studios for many years. It produces a warm, yet clean clear vocal sound which, with good studio acoustics, requires little adjustment in the mix, keeping the real natural voice sound.
Interface/Pre-Amp: Focusrite Solo
The microphone is nothing without a decent quality pre amp/interface. Probably the most well known piece of home studio equipment is the Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface. It's excellent build gives high quality sound to the mic. Simple & easy to set up and use. Not to mention the size, which fits perfectly into a small recording booth!
