Am I Getting Value For My Money?
To compare my prices against the current standard rates for voice over projects, a good reference point is the Gravy for the Brain Rate Card. Price guides here are set on a Basic Session Fee (BSF), which is like a minimum hourly rate. I price per minute, so, I think you will find that I am an affordable, yet highly professional British voiceover.

What's Included In My Fee?

Consultation with you regarding the type & style of voiceover you need.

Script preparation prior to recording session.

Full use of the audio in perpetuity (for internal usage only eg: company website, social media etc.).

My professional studio time to record and edit the audio ready for use.

My professional performance as many times as required in one session.

File splitting: Up to 5 files per project.

RAW audio of the session if required.

Delivery within 24 hours or less for small projects.

Broadcast quality 24bit WAV file or file format of your choice.

*Unlimited revisions until completely happy.

Usage Guide
Now...This can be a complicated area. But basically, If the voiceover is going to be used for anything other than internal usage eg: company website, company social media etc, then a usage fee will usually apply according to that particular usage requirement.
O.K. So let's start with a few basics here. Voice-over usage fees are based on a number of variables:

The medium: radio, television, internet etc.

The market: local, national, international.

The size of the project: One single recording or several recordings over a period of time. For example: Product campaign. Series of 'How To' etc.

So for a UK project example:
Project fee = £120 + 100% for 12 months usage rights (£120). Total cost: £240

Here are the main voiceover projects I tend to be booked for, and their current usage rights:

Corporate:
Corporate voice over is for things like company videos, exhibition videos, presentations videos etc.

Length of script worked out on time (see price guide above).

No usage fee if non broadcast.

Internet Voice Over Rates:
Generic voiceovers that are for content on the web and that are not commercials or animated explainer videos

Length of script + 100% usage rights per year.

Animated explainer voiceovers are things like: Product demonstrations, 'how to' videos or services of a company.

Length of script + 50% usage rights per year.

E-Learning and Training Voiceover:
This is generally charged per word. The word count is calculated into time it takes to record the course. Then I'll provide an accurate no obligation quote which will include any file splitting. Usage fee is also included in the quote.

Phone Messaging/IVR Prompts etc.

​​Voice Over For Commercials:
This is where the voiceover will be used on; TV, Radio, Internet, Cinemas, In Flight, etc.

These are all charged differently dependant on numerous factors - where it is being broadcast, size of the audience, period of broadcast, etc. For a quote, Please email me.

Audio Tour Guide Voice:
Usage fees are needed depending on the actual usage of the voiceover and for how long. For example: A voiceover is used for an exhibition display in a museum for 12 months. Usage fee is 100% of project cost. If the audio tour is to be re used the following year, for the same length of time (12 months), either the usage fee would be 100% of original project cost. Or, A new recording can be done with new usage rights if applicable.
Buy Out Option:
There is also a 'Buy Out' option, where the complete audio can be bought for a one time fee and would last up to 12 or 24 months usage. After that, either a buy out again using the same audio as original, or you can have a brand new recording with a new quote.
AI:
Any voice samples or recordings I provide are strictly prohibited from use for any type of AI training, voice cloning, TTS or any form of synthetic replication without my prior written consent and appropriate renumeration fees, so please contact me for a chat about this type of work.
