Rates Guide
Different genres are charged in different ways. The best approach, whatever your project, is to get in touch and ask for a custom quote. I'll get it to you quickly and it'll be accurate. So the more information I have relating to your project, the more accurate my quote will be for you. There are 2 main factors in quoting for a project: The type of project and the usage. So please see the How It Works page for more information.
The majority of Voiceover pricing is based around a standard rate called a 'Basic Session Fee', or BSF, and this is the starting point for engaging my voice and using my studio and equipment for your project.
My BSF is £225 and includes the following;

Script preparation & warm up.

Performance of voiceover up to 1 hour.

Recording and use of personal professional studio and equipment.

Audio clean up, editing and optimisation.

Minor pick ups included within 7 days.

24-hour delivery on most projects.

24bit WAV file or file format of your choice.

Up to 45 minutes remote directed session, if needed.

File splitting up to 10 files.

Corrections due to an error by me.
NB: Any significant script amendments once your project has started will be quoted separately.

Basic Session Fee & Production Add-Ons
Basic Session Fee £225
Up to one hour of recording, editing and studio time, including the services listed above.
Additional Recording Time Per 30 Minutes £40
Additional time beyond the included one hour session is charged in 30 minute increments, allowing for extended recording, editing and delivery.
Extra File Splitting £25
Each additional batch of 10 files.
Extended remote directed sessions and dedicated studio bookings are charged separately. See below.
Usage And Licensing
The fees below are typical guidelines. The final quote depends on the project, intended audience, platforms and duration of use.
Internal corporate & training use
Internal presentations, employee induction, onboarding, workplace safety, compliance and internal eLearning:
Internal use: usage included in the relevant quoted fee.
Website & non-paid online promotion
Corporate videos, explainers, animations and training videos published on a company website, YouTube channel or social media without paid advertising:
Typical usage fee is 100% of the BSF for 12 months for qualifying corporate work. Explainer and animation projects are quoted according to reach and duration.
Commercial, paid and broadcast use.
Paid advertising, commercial app distribution, paid exhibitions and other extended commercial uses:
Usage fee depends on the intended distribution, audience, platforms and licence period. Please request a tailored quote.
eLearning, training & induction
£0.15 per word, minimum 1,500 words. Usage included for the stated eLearning licence; external promotion or other commercial uses may incur additional fees.
If the course is to be run on social media platforms, including YouTube, for any non-paid promotional purposes, usage fee is 100% of total cost per 12 months.
Audio guides & tours
£0.15 per word, minimum 1,500 words. Local non-commercial usage included as specified in your audio-guide pricing. Commercial exhibitions, apps and other extended uses, may incur additional licensing fees.
