Current Price Guide For 2025/26

Let's Keep It As Simple As We Can!

Voiceover rates are all based around a standard rate called a Basic Session Fee, or BSF.

My current BSF is £200 and offers great value for money!

 This includes:

 

  • All work from first communication.

  • Script preparation & warm up.

  • Free custom demo, if needed.

  • Performance of voiceover up to 1 hour.

  • Recording and use of personal professional studio and equipment.

  • Basic audio editing and optimisation.

  • Unlimited Revision on projects up to 1000 words. Thereafter a small additional fee will apply (Revision is for voice only). 

  • Delivery 24 hrs or sooner if possible.

  • 24bit WAV file or file format of your choice.

  • Remote directed session of up to 30 minutes.

  • File splitting up to 10 files.


Different genres are charged in different ways. So the best approach, whatever your project, is to get in touch and ask for a custom quote for your project.  I'll get it to you quickly and it'll be accurate. So the more information I have relating to your project, the more accurate my quote will be for you. Please see the How It Works page for more information.

However, as a rough starting point, the information in the table below will give you a good idea of cost breakdown.

Fees 2025/26

Basic Session Fees (self recorded/non directed)

 

  • Basic session fee for the 1st hour: £200.

       Includes:  Audio clean up (removal of any unwanted breathes, mouth pops & clicks etc, light optimisation ready to             use at your end, or just RAW audio file.
 

  • Additional time: For each additional 30 minutes after 1st hour:  £75 per 30 minutes.

 

  • File splitting up to 10 files included then £25 per extra batch of 10 files. (Discount for bulk file processing)

Remote Directed Session via: Zoom, Cleanfeed, etc.
Included in BSF is one live directed session up to 30 minutes. Additional time charged at £75/hour
Usage & Licensing (Typical Add-Ons)

  • Corporate / Internal Only: Training videos, explainers, animation, eLearning: Included in BSF.

  • Web, Online Commercial: YouTube ads, website promos, Tk-Tok ads, Instagram ads etc: 75% of BSF for 12 months.

  • Broadcast work: TV / Radio: Regional, National, International ads: As per GFTB guidelines.

​

  • Audio Tours/Museums: Local non-commercial use: Included in BSF.

       For commercial Apps/paid downloads with a Global digital reach: 75% BSF for 12 months.

  • eLearning: This is charged per word. The word count is calculated into time it takes to record the course. Then I'll provide an accurate no obligation quote which will include any file splitting. Usage fee is also included in the quote.

  • ​Phone Messaging/IVR Prompts etc. 

  • First prompt is £25.

  • Each additional prompt/message is £8.

  • I can add  & mix your music £15.

  • No usage fee.

  • Minimum order £100

Buy Out Option:

There is also a 'Buy Out' option, where the complete audio can be bought for a one time fee and would last up to 12 or 24 months usage. After that, either a buy out again using the same audio as original, or you can have a brand new recording with a new quote. Usage is on all/any platforms, promotions, advertising etc.

AI:

Any voice samples or recordings I provide are strictly prohibited from use for any type of AI training, voice cloning, TTS or any form of synthetic replication without my prior written consent and appropriate renumeration fees, so please contact me for a chat about this type of work.

Every voiceover project is different, therefore each quote will be different! so please email me for more information and we can have a chat about your requirements. ​If your budget is a little on the low side, but are still interested in using my voice for your project, message me and let's see if we can work something out. Am I Getting Value For My Money?

To compare my prices against the current standard rates for voice over projects, a good reference point is the Gravy for the Brain Rate Card. Price guides here are set on a Basic Session Fee (BSF), which is like a minimum hourly rate. A lot of voiceovers will charge extra for editing and optimising the audio so, I think you will find that I am an affordable British voiceover, offering excellent value.
